The lodge boasts a long and storied history. Eleven members of the original lodge first received a dispensation to operate on Dec. 3, 1853. Our current three-story building was dedicated on June 4, 1924. Read about our history. We typically meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month, September through June. The lodge also hosts other social events, including; - An annual summer picnic held in August
- A community open house
- New year's day EA Degree
- Additional informal gatherings
Golden Gate lodge is a supporter of Chagrin Falls Little Theater and Ohio Special Olympics. We currently provide several annual educational scholarships to Chagrin Falls and Kenston High School seniors who are committed to their communities and fellow students, as well as their academics. We also sponsor a semi-annual highway clean up at the intersection of SR 44 & 422. Lodge members are involved in a multitude of additional charitable activities. The lodge offers many benefits to its members. Becoming a Mason at the Chagrin Falls lodge is extremely rewarding, educational and fun. To learn more about Freemasonry explore this website.
